Can someone please recommend a tablet to run a Digital Audio Workstation, non pro musician just a hobbyist 1 midi Digital piano, with thanks.

..surely the 'best' hobbyist musician 'tablet' sweetspot for price/useability and features would be the Apple iPad Air (11-inch)... it's what most hobbyist musicians use, unless you intend to read sheet music, then the 13-inch version! 🤷

iOS is generally considered better for mobile music production due to its superior audio architecture and massive app ecosystem. Apple's CoreAudio framework delivers near-zero latency right out of the box, whereas Android has historically struggled with audio lag.

Class-compliant MIDI keyboards and audio interfaces usually work instantly on an iPad without needing extra drivers or troubleshooting.

..but at the end of the day, it's YOUR choice sir... 😊

128GB is plenty of room for iPadOS and it comes with 8GB Ram by default. Upgrading memory wouldn't be worth it price-wise. But again, it's YOUR money and YOUR choice. 😊

I have to say I'm in agreement here with @_Matthew_

A number of my friends are into performing music and the arts and they ALL have iPads.
