I’d really like to see Samsung add more granular control over automatic linking in Samsung Notes.
At the moment, the “Show links in notes” setting is all-or-nothing. This means web URLs, dates, times, phone numbers, and sometimes other numbers are automatically turned into clickable links. While clickable website links are useful, automatically linking dates, times, and random numbers can often be unnecessary and disruptive.
Ideally, this could be split into separate options, such as:
This would allow users to keep useful clickable website links while disabling unwanted automatic links for other types of text.
At the very least, it would be great to have the ability to manually remove or unlink individual automatically detected links without having to disable all links completely.
The current behaviour can also make editing more frustrating, as linked text can be harder to place the cursor around or select. Accidentally tapping an automatically linked date or number can also open Calendar or another app when you simply want to continue editing your note.
I feel this would be a useful improvement for Samsung Notes. If anyone else feels the same, please consider posting your own feedback or commenting below so Samsung can see that there is demand for more control over this feature.
Thanks!

Might be a good idea, requests of this nature can often be dependent on perceived demand. I have linked your post on the software ideas thread https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/mobile-apps-services/the-suggestions-amp-ideas-thread-for-softwa...
