I'd really like to see more granular auto-link settings in Samsung Notes.
Right now, the"Show links in notes" option is all-or-nothing, so web URLs, dates, times, and even random numbers all become links. While clickable web URLs are useful, the automatic linking of dates, times, and numbers is often unnecessary and just gets in the way.
It would be great to have separate toggles—for example, one forweb URLs and another forsmart detection links (dates, times, phone numbers, addresses, etc.). That way, users could keep useful website links without unwanted auto-linking elsewhere.
The current behaviour also makes editing more awkward, as linked text is harder to select or position the cursor around, and tapping auto-linked numbers often opens Calendar or other apps instead of treating them as plain text.
Whilst Samsung has introduced better customization ofWeb url links, the unnecessary auto-linking of other text is still an issue.
