When I try using Audio Recorder on my Samsung Galaxy S24 FE I get an error message saying 'Could not start recording. Another app is using the microphone.Screenshot of message.

Look into what apps are open in the background and which apps have microphone enabled😊

I am trying to record high quality audio and am not aware of anything running the background.

Settings > apps > 3 dots in the corner > permission manager > microphone check who has permission to use microphone.

Or you could also try reset app preferences in apps > 3 dots > reset app preferences it will reset apps and permissions to default
