Hi, I have a pair of T7 shield 4TB, one of which is causing me issues that I'd like some advice on.
As you can hopefully see fromthe screenshots the problematic T7 has a sequential write of 2mb/s.
I've hardly used these drives, and was wondering if there's a means to improve the performance or is it in need of Samsung support?
The results are from an up-to-date Samsun Magician 9.0.1 and utilising the same USB cable and port to remove any doubts.

I seem to have unbunged the sequential write/random write by wiping the drive and reformatting it (after copying everything off it). Testing again and the results have improved. I guess I'll know more when I start to write to it again.

Some info here (looks likes the trick worked for my T7Shield): https://www.reddit.com/r/WindowsHelp/comments/1rb9von/fixed_samsung_t9_and_t7_ssd_write_speed_drops_...

On Windows:
- Go to Windows Settings > Bluetooth & devices > USB. Turn OFF the USB battery saver toggle.
- 'This PC' -> T7 drive > Properties > Tools tab > Optimize looks like to fix the issue.

On linux (debian), I disabled USB autosuspend.
to check: cat /sys/module/usbcore/parameters/autosuspend  (-1 ~> disabled)
to disable: edit /etc/default/grub
  GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet usbcore.autosuspend=-1"
  sudo update-grub  # then reboot
