Why doesn't samsung have an native app lock

Just like other brands, why do I have to install an 3rd party app

Because the secure folder does the same job but with actual security

Also Google have just enabled App Lock on Pixel phones with Android 17 Beta 4 software
So unless Google decides to keep it to their Pixel phones.
Its entirely possible it will come out on other Android devices eventually.
I've got it on my other phone which is a Pixel. It's definitely a useful feature
